  • there’s something about the composition of this that is haunting. it’s like the contrast evolves with your gaze, beginning starkly and somehow growing subtler wit each pass of the eye.

  • I agree–this is a haunting piece of art work, haunting in a beautifully moving way. The colors are great, and I love the different shadows and your trademark featureless face; it expresses more than any rendering of one’s unique features could. I don’t know if that makes sense, but that’s how it comes across to me. Like you are painting everyman’s pain, and yet each blank face is somehow unique unto itself.
