This painting was originally titled “Birth of a Fairy” but as I looked at it longer she reminded me more of an angel than a fairy.
So here we have an African-American angel holding a child with her wings span wide as a shield. Her skirt comes down and paints the earth in vivid colors of blue, green and purple.

Two young children sit close to their grandfather and listen.
“Grandfather, tell us again.”

Painting details: A grandfather sits close with one child on the left and one on the right. His hair is snow white, his skin solid black as is the skin of the two children. His robe is long and kingly. Each figure is featureless but not faceless. There’s a strong cobalt blue background with green, salmon and cream accents. This is a touching family moment between a grandfather and his grandchildren while sitting a top a hill in the open air.

I didn’t know I’d do another painting based on self forgiveness but here it is.
An older lady holds her younger self as they watch a beautiful waterfall symbolizing inner peace. This peace has not yet come, it’s a vision of where she will be when self forgiveness has been accomplished. Every possibility is beyond the sky, she looks to in assurance that she’ll see and see with joy.

Title: Forgiveness: Look How Far We’ve Come

This is one of three child angels in a dream I had not long ago. In the dream there were three children each on a pole. I’ve had the dream twice now so I’m in the process of painting all three children.

I took a photo of red paisley cloth and painted over the top of it.
