Sage in Lavender

My little mousy bear got a little sister the other day. She’s an 8 inch handmade, hand stitched sage coloured teddy bear with a lavender flower hat and a brown nose. She’s stuffed with super soft polyfill, rice and a small lavender aromatherapy pouch.

Since Mouse wasn’t expecting a little sister he now demands she get her own soup mug to sleep in. He refuses to share his mug. I never expected this behavior from Mouse. Hopefully they’ll begin to play together soon and all the bickering will stop. Since her birth wasn’t planned we need to find her a little cup.

Little sister Sage is made from a recycled micro-fiber chair cover. Her hat is felt with deep lavender roses on top. Her nose is a brown felt triangle and her eyes are child safe teddy bear eyes. Whodathunk she’d come potty trained and sleep through the night? I’m one lucky mom.

When not enjoying her favorite treat of cookies and milk she enjoys playing with wooden blocks and picking wild flower. From time to time she can be caught playing a game of ‘I’m not touching you’ with big brother Mousy.

This bear stands 18 inches tall. She’s got a light blue knit sweater a pink hair bow and little brown slippers.

These mousy bears have been so fun to make. I’ve only got one pillow left to make a few more of these guys. I’m going to miss this fabric. I guess we can say these little guys are limited edition bears. This is the largest one I’ve made. I think I like smaller bears better than larger ones. So anyway, I’m almost sad because the mousy material is coming to a quick close. Maybe one day we’ll run across this material again and another generation of trans-species bears will come across these here Sundrip pages.

Country Girl Handmade Ragdoll

At 22 inches tall this handmade rag doll is shown in a country blue dress, an over apron and matching blue bloomers. She wears her hair up or down with pink hat pin roses for her pigtails. The country girl has crystal blue eyes and blond hair, small brown freckles and a small little smile.

Here the Country Girl sits with a bear. I think this photo when viewed larger shows her smile a lot better.

When I look at her I see a hint of vintage in her hand painted face. This doll, as with all of my dolls, is a one of a kind, never to be duplicated doll. She is signed and dated on her bum. The country girl will arrive to your door carefully wrapped and secure in order to withstand ill tempered postal workers who might not appreciate the contents of the package.

This 9 inch aromatherapy bear has a small chamomile pouch that when warmed is soothing and adds to his adorable nature. Because of his special shoes he stands on his own, he sits and of course fits in a soup mug.

Your little one comes dressed in red shorts, a plaid shirt and brown shoes. The soup mug isn’t included because it belongs to my own bear. If I sold it where oh where would my little bear sleep?

This is a honey bear wearing a checkered green dress with matching hair bows. She has two hair bows that can be arranged to meet her changing fashion needs.

At 18 inches tall this fleece, rice and polyfilled ornamental teddy bear is sweetness wrapped in a hand sewn dress with two matching hair bows. She has pom-pom eyes and a safety nose with thread stitched lips. Her little checkered dress has a small band of solid white lace at the top.
