The Friendly Redhead

he’s the first and only of her kind by yours truly. This little redheaded doll is a special gift to a friend. As you can see she’s got long red locks and little freckle spots. Her dress is a flowing apple orchard print with green ruffled trim.

My favorite part are her little ducky boots. When I saw those I absolutely had to buy them.

The second doll you see is what I like to call an oops doll. Oops? Yup, the fabric I used isn’t so forgiving so there’s a slight error on her lips. She still needs more work though before I offer her at a special oops price in my Etsy shop.  I need to work on her eyes some more and add little shoes. The blond doll is sporting a blue jean dress and a blue jean hat with a tiny pink firefly on the hat. Her friend has a small butterfly in her hair to the right side.

These two dolls are from the Charlene Collection. They are both signed and dated on the bum as are all my dolls.

Update:

Both dolls pictured now have homes. Thanks to everyone who inquired. There’s one more coming very soon.

Note: Layaway is available on prints as well as originals and dolls. See my sidebar for contact information.

She has matching bloomers, white socks and black patented “leather” shoes. You will also notice she’s got little sunflower earrings. Continue reading ‘Charlene Dolls’
