Sunday Afternoon
On a lazy Sunday afternoon a young girl opens her hands to the wings of a butterfly. The clothing of this dark skinned, redheaded little girl has the same pattern as the butterfly and the flowers. An added bonus to the painting is the stark white contrast of her scarf which blows in the wind. Sunday Afternoon is loosely based on my acrylic painting called Blue, Green, Gold and can be seen in the Innocence Gallery and on Redbubble.
