I'd much prefer that heaven on earth arrive to eliminate the need for extra income. Inability to forgive makes it easier for forces to influence our moods, personality, and perception. :)

1 Peter 5:8-9; James 4:7 1 John 4:4 Matthew 16:23 Those with the greatest belief in god, are usually tormented the most to decrease their faith. The mind and emotions are the devil's GREATEST tools, yet he is seldom blamed when using them, and very few people attribute their torment to spiritual warfare. Based on the attacks you've experienced, I'm sure you already have knowledge of the scriptures. Just in case. gotquestions.org is a great website. Despite your past, mortal man is not the cause of this degree of torment. Your mother may have had her own attacks which effected her actions. Be blessed and recognize the tools in action sister. Forgiveness was one of the main lessons Jesus taught on earth, because he knew it would be difficult for most, creating an open door for attacks.

God does not torment us with evil acts and spirits, but when we lose faith in God, and turn our backs on him, he removes his protective hand, which allows these spirits to do what comes NATURALLY for them. We were not meant to walk this earth amidst demonic influence without God’s protection and guidance.

Not to oversimply, but it’s like having a computer firewall. It works for you, until you fail to rely on it(faith in God) and update regularly(daily prayer). That firewall is not to blame for trojans and viruses(demonic influence) which attack your computer(spirit, mind, body), it is always under your control to request protection.

Love can not reside in a heart filled with hate, even if the hate is towards those who have hurt us deeply. We are either serving God, or being influenced by the great deceiver. There is no in between. Matthew 6:14-15 Matthew 6:24 1 Corinthians 10:13.

Yes true psychological/psychiatric problems exist, and a child of God can not be posessed, but they can be aggressively influenced by demons which can cause all types of emotional and personality changes. The bible often speaks of generational curses. This doesn’t mean God holds children accountable for the actions and evil of their parents, and targets them for torment, but if we go on to practice hate, unforgiveness, and bitterness because of our parents sins, we are in essence prolonging these patterns for generations by removing ourselves from his protection.

I’m sure there is nothing in this message you have not heard before, and my guess is that you’ve studied the scriptures and have a belief in God. So, I won’t post further on this topic, unless you say it is acceptable. I just felt the need to post a gentle reminder, as someone who has been where you are. Dust off the suit sistah, I’m sure it still fits. Ephesians 6:10-12
