They’re serious! That’s what gets me! I don’t think this is so that they can keep down spam I think it’s to see just how much one human being can take. How much irritation can they pack into what 8 letters written in chicken scratch and blurred beyond recognition? This isn’t a verification process, it’s a test. It’s a test to see the limits of my patients. I didn’t pass this test. I failed. I failed miserably.

There are no implied rights to posting a comment. Free speech means you can say what you feel you need to say without the GOVERNMENT coming down on you, not me. If you decide to be an insensitive idiot your comment will be deleted and you will be dismissed and ignored. There is no Comment Constitution out there saying Blog Owners must uphold the First Comment Amendment and they can’t delete or moderate words. I delete stuff off my blog all the time because there are a plethora of idiots out there and they seem to flock to my blog making moderation necessary.

I was just thinking about this! why do I have to squint to read those damn letters to comment on my own blog? I had those verifications turned on because I’m afraid of getting spammed, but I think I’ll turn it off and see what happens-if I get spammed a lot I’ll turn it back on.
