PMS and a 107 degree heat index do not mix. I might as well have rabies, people would be safer I think. They said, if you don’t have to be out in it then stay home. Well, the motherfucker across the street hired a homeless guy to cut his acer size lawn at 11:30AM. Of course I have issues with that. He’s out there sweating like a dog. He’d better be getting hazard pay. Barney turned off the air so I marched my happy ass right back out there and turned it on. It seems the heat makes me a bit bitchy and it makes others just stupid. Barney’s brain must be baked because he actually went on a 4 mile hike today. he just got back. What part of stay in does he not understand? I prefer my landlord to be alive. Him dying would really fuck up my day. We’re supposed to have a cooler day tomorrow. I guess that means it’ll be 90. I’ll take Tyler’s heat over this any day. I lived in Tampa and it wasn’t this bad. The trees look like they are begging for mercy. Cap isn’t panting because I wipe down his chest and paws and keep plenty of ice water for him. The shades are down, lights are off and nobody is moving save the cats. This is a nobody do jack shit day, just sit and shut up. It’s too damn hot to think….and bake. Good thing I have my Kitchen Aide’s step-brother on hand..the bread maker…it’s too hot to use the oven and I need some bread. I’m sure as heck not walking across the street to the Quickie Mart to get a loaf. I’d be dead before I crossed the street.

It is just as hot here at keeperskorner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Keepers try hard to not even poke our noses out the door. We do not pms any more. That has been replaced by hot flashes. 102 degrees here and we are having hot flashes!!!!!!!!!!Not fun my friend. Not fun at all.
Thanks for the idea of wiping the pets down. We never thought of that before but Max and Owen sure enjoyed it!!!!!

At the law office where I work, we’ve had a noticeable increase in new divorce cases in the past week. We were discussing today whether or not the heat might be part of the problem. It doesn’t take much to push a really hot person too far.
