Instead of carrots now I eat parsley. I know that is weird but for some reason I am addicted to it. I used to just buy it for my bunny princess Lola, but I started picking at it and now I buy three bushels every time I go to the store. I wash it and keep it in a colander in the fridge and just eat it. I don't know what I would do with out it and no hiccups!

Gosh - thank you for posting this. My family has made fun of me for years. I love raw carrots, but I have to avoid them at indoor parties. At outdoor BBQs, I can sneak off and enjoy my carrots and wait for the hiccups to subside while I'm admiring their garden.

Does it have something to do with lung capacity? It seems common to people who play the flute and/or developed larger than average lung capacity. Mine came on as a mid-teen when I learned to swim the 50 yd freestyle without a breath.
