A cicada entry with close up photos.
On the high resolution photo (2048×1536/777KB) you can get right up close in this guys eyes. That was a bit much for me so I stopped clicking on zoom.
But it’s really neat to look at the veins in his wings. I like bugs, I don’t know….I think he’s kinda cool.

I never got the chance to see this little animal live, well thankfully in a way, because I confess I rather see it in photos.

He was alive when I photographed him. I think he might have been close to death cause he didn’t try to get away. Or maybe it was the flash that stunned him so he just kind of sat wondering why someone not from the Nature Channel kept putting a camera in his face. I should name this photo Cicada Wonderer.
