I’m still here. I’m painting and messing around in the house, sleeping and junk like that. There’s new stuff over at the art blog.
The last two nights of sleep have been restful. I’m thrilled to death about it. I took a nap this afternoon and that was restful as well. I intended to nurse my pups soar legs by laying on a pouch in front of the fire place but we both fell asleep. When I woke all Three Stooges were on the pouch. It was nice. Despite my initial hesitation I went ahead and kept the Brown Mantid. (That’s Mantid with a d not an s) I put a little aquarium together for him. I’ve been reading a bit on line about how to take care of him. Actually, it’s a girl. I figured that much out. They can live up to a year after reaching adulthood. I think that’s really cool and the little ones like to watch her move around in her home. So, every few days I go out in the yard and snatch up a few moths or other insects and toss them in there. I think she’s really cool. Her name is Misty Mantis.
Other stuff that I’m grateful for this week include getting a raise on my stamps, finally getting some more business cards, having post cards of Lady In The Tress on the way i the mail, talking to a friend on the phone and finding a new psychiatrist to manage meds that I need to get back on. I bought a pound of yeast for one dollar. I got to play with my neighbors dogs and rough house with my neighbors kid (who happens to be the only photo of anyone I carry in my wallet.) I’ve rediscovered popcorn. I found my hot air pop corn popper. Yum! Oh, and dinner was good this evening.
