There is no gender when talking about safety, there never should be but there is. People are people and people deserve a domestic violence free life. One of the reasons I put up links for male survivors of abuse is because they too should be allowed to heal. Why heal one part of society and not the other? I want SURVIVORS, domestic violence and sexual abuse survivors to have resources, support and encouraging words. I want equality and you can't have that if you separate out race or gender.

There is an entire section on the page called My Resources specifically for male survivors of rape or abuse. The first few links on my blogroll are links to male survivors. Doc's blog is not about abuse but about grief. The reason I have them in bold is because I want male survivors to know they have not been ignored. It happens too often. They should have every opportunity to heal too...so that's why I bold the male links and why I have a section specifically for male survivors on the My Resources page. Male survivors have not been forgotten.

Thanks for your comment
Smiles to you and yours,
