<description>In high school I wore one pink converse and one turquoise blue converse. I wore a pink sock and a turquoise sock too. That was my sophomore year. My Junior year I sported a pink Mohawk and wore a black leather jacket with a white skull on the back.

I went to 14 different schools before I graduated from h.s. Of those schools there was a young man that I saw at about 6 of them. We were in the 2nd and 3rd grade together, junior high a few times and one high school. It was kinda crazy. In the 2nd grade he use to call me Darth Vader. We always played together at recess. I told him he called me names because I could run faster than he could and play baseball better than he could. He use to pull my hair.

He had this really long hair which was different than the other boys because they were clean cut and rather formal looking. I thought he was the cutest thing. Why O why did the 80's hit and put the idea in his head that he'd look like the lead singer of White Snake if he got a kinky curl perm? OMG and why did he keep that White Snake 80's hair well into the 90's?
It was horrible, just horrible. Good memories though.......

<description>The dream is incredible enough-as you know,I have repeat dreams about prisons...the interesting thing to me is the Chuck's. (which is what we called Converse tennys back in high school.)
You dreaming about red Chuck's just gave me one of those big spiritual chill down my spine kind of grins because last night I was telling my late freind Grier's son (remember me writing about Grier?) I have never owned a pair of sneakers or tennis shoes or Chuck's in my life...Grier's son wears one red and one black-or a green and a red and so one.
He commented he needed some new Chuck's and since he was new to the area he asked me where to go...now I want a pair. Why not? It's definantly be a new experience for me...and thats what we are about, hmmm?
Actually-sneakers were a real key factor in something that happened in Tuckahoe-the factor is putting it better.
I was in 8th grade and in a brand new town and brand new school and brand new kids...and I walked across the gym floor (basketball court) in my hard heeled street shoes-oxfords! I got one pair a year. My folks said sneakers were for play-the gym coach reamed me a new asshole in front of two groups of students and from that day on I was low caste.
I hated school from that day on-and one day I got this brite idea to do something to get kicked out. I took some eggs with me on the school bus-and tossed them at a car that wrecked...it was the high school student drivers. No one was hurt-thank God,but I got kicked out of school-expelled!! Not suspended. Some girl on the bus-Debbie W. pointed the finger at me.
That summer we moved to Washington-and the following school season at the new school-who was there? Debbie W. (there is a larger story we are'nt talking about here) and thats when my forml education quit, the 9th grade. I always tell people I studied the ninth grade extensivly,I spent two years in it!
You know what? When my brother got killed-Debbie W. was the right there person. She was the best.
I got to kiss her one time-in her parents basement. One time, and I thought I was one lucky cadillac...then I went into the Navy.
Two years ago goofing around this computer...I found Debbie W.
She remembers that kiss!
We talked just the other day. Cool beans...and all you had to do was talk about your dream and those Converse shoes...Chuck's!!
