Oh that reminds to tell you that I haven't forgotten about the pictures I said I would share with you (my bug/critter pictures).

I think that would be a dragon fly in the first image.
The second (black and white) is actually rather nice. Isn't interesting how making a photo b&w can make it look artsy and impressive? Or is that just me?

Oh my, oh my! A mouse. Wow. I have a cat that runs away from them and stands on the chair. Leaves me to find something to do with them. OK, I live in the outback. We have mice here too. I don't have to much trouble with them but once a desperate mother to be found her way into the dryer vent, worked her way to the lint trap, chewed through it and started a nest for baby mice in my dryer. Well, when I opened the dryer door just in time to see her disappear into the vent, it was time to eradicate a mouse. I turned the dryer on and ran outside just in time to see her drop our of the vent and run to cover under some leaves.

I fixed the lint trap, cleaned out the dryer with clorex wipes and thought that the mouse was gone forever. Guess what! She got into the vent again, chewed through the new lint trap and remade that nest in my dryer. Once again I opened the door just in time to see her vanish down the vent again. Again, I turned on the dryer and ran outside to see her drop out of the vent and run to cover under leaves. It was time for the BIG GUNS! I got a wire cage cover for the outside vent, replaced the lint trap and voila! No more mouse. Instead she made her nest in the motor casing of the lawn tractor and chewed through the electrical wiring of the tractor. And life goes on.

You got a very lovely shot of a beautiful dragonfly (a good guy).

Hi Austin-Your really made my skin crawl about the critters and stuff. Yuck. I would have been stuck on that chair until my husband came home. Anyway, I did not really have the time to negotiate my way to leave a comment in the proper place. I love you blog and your courage and ability to share. I want to thank you for taking the time to come and visit me. Please come back again. I will be returning here especially to check everything out and find out more about you. I really appreciated and found your feedback helpful. By the way, how did you find my blog? I am going to add you to my blogroll. Have a great weekend...no critters invited!!!
