This is quick update to say the clinic may have been wrong about when to expect the pups. Her milk has dropped. So far no mucus or anything like that but I think seeing pups sooner than the end of October is a real possibility. I’ve prepared a place for her in the bedroom with clean sheets that shall never, ever be used again. The girls will be moved to the living room area away from Ladybird while she has the pups as well as for a few weeks after. I think Grace the Great Annoyer will be fine with the pups but Bella the Destroyer might see them as mice so it’s best to keep them apart for a bit especially when they’re brand spanking new.
I’ve been doing some research on what to expect when she goes into labor. Some of the signs to look for are increased restlessness, nesting and panting. The other day she was panting all day long and it was only 56 degrees here. I wasn’t sure if it had to do with her extra body weight or if she was in labor so I started getting serious about preparing a place for her pups. Then this morning I realized her milk had dropped even more. I just don’t see this lasting until the end of October not with how big her belly is and the formation of her nipples and the dropping of milk.
As far as my own health goes, it seems my foot is going to need to be looked at. The whatever it is on the bottom that happens when I know a flair up is about to take place has changed. This is new so I need to have it checked. At first they were small cluster bumbs on the sole of my left foot. The inside was clear liquid. Then then they went flat and black but now they’re puffed with puss. Gotta call the doc as soon as I get home. It’s never changed like this before. I know what my body does just before a fybro or Lupus ordeal as I like to call it and the cluster bumps for me or normal. The puss is not. So sick of infections. I was asked how on earth I was able to sew by hand with my hands messed up like they are. Well, it hurt like hell cause hand cramps are ugly but I wanted to sew so I did. I know when to stop though and when I’ve met my pain tolerance.
Last but not least, it’s nice to hear us say please and thank you to one another again. We inside use to do that a lot but during our negativity spell it was name calling and false accusations. It’s so nice to hear positive speech and peaceful chatter. I like my inside people and how they talk to one another. It always shocks me when things get crazy and we tear each other’s eyes out. Please and thank you are common with us so when it stops then moral has dropped. That’s never a good thing. Very nice to hear it again I must say.
Gotta go, I have two sessions today – one with the pdoc and one with my therapist
