Why do dogs like socks so much? I think Halo likes these because for her it’s like looking in the mirror. Black and white dog, black and white socks.
So do I actually wear these in public? Yes, yes I do. I figure if I have to wear super tight socks like support hose then I’m going to do it in style. These socks look great with my high top Converse. I have no complaints what so ever. Whodathunk I’d ever wear tie die socks? For one buck I just might have to…I did and went back for 2 more pair from dollar tree. I’m not disappointed in the least. Halo seems to like them too.
I’m going to miss her little self when she’s gone. She’s got that puppy smell I love so much. I just want to hold her and smell her. That only makes sense to dog lovers. The rest of you sick people I mean the rest of you probably think it’s crazy to want to hug a young pup and sniff away. The rest of us healthy and balanced people know it is pure delight.

As for socks, I have a mottly colored pair in teal and white that are lotion socks. They are so soft and fuzzy and warm. I wear them under dressy boots with my work clothes. It’s my little secret.
Gracee dog loves, to a point of obsession, socks! she is very particular about the socks. they have to be rolled up in a small ball, no tube socks whatsoever..they are too big! she will stand in front of the dryer waiting for me to ball the socks up. i toss them in the basket and she grabs one pair out. if its not the “right” pair she puts them back in the basket and waits for the just right pair! she’ll also stand and watch someone take off their socks, hoping they’ll ball em up so she can grab them. she doesnt destroy them, just carries them around ( much like she does her small furry “babies”). i love that about her.

so it has to be the right pair huh? What if they’re not rolled just so does she wait even longer hoping with big sad eyes someone will ball up the right pair of socks and give her puppy heart a bit of joy?

My cats like socks too…the older two chase them if you toss one. The young one likes to chase them, pounce them, and try to tear them apart…but only while I am wearing them! He chases my feet while I walk!
Puppies are the best. Those socks are tight. I can see them rocking the Converse. That’s a helluva find for a dollar.
The little dog loves balled socks too, but I don’t let him have them because he’s a rat terrier (think “extreme, overwhelming hunt/chase instinct around anything that resembles a ball”) and I’m afraid that if he got hold of one set that would be it for my carefully amassed sock collection. I can see in his little eyes that once that chip turns on he doesn’t know what he’s doing any more.
Oh yes! they have to be rolled up tight, no loose ends or she waits. lol. I had to laugh today as I was taking off my shoes and she gave me this indignant look when I kept my socks on. She pouted for a good minute or two!
in addition to the socks she has this collection of small stuffed hedgehogs. must have at least 10 by now (I’m indulgent lol) yet she always has one that is her “favorite baby”. she will look all over the house for THE ONE and go without playing until she finds it. weird little doggie, psycho pup I call her (for her crazy running around in circles and her sock/hedgehog obsession). amkes me laugh and smile every day. gotta love em!
