Why can’t people follow basic considerations when they’re ill? I mean really? We keep hearing if you’re sick stay home don’t infect the public. Today at the bank a man (about 22 or so) walked in with his mother. He was clearly ill. He had a dry cough and a red rash on his face. Despite the fact that he pulled his shirt up over his mouth when he coughed he still put the public at risk. The second time he coughed everyone in the place seized up. You could feel the tension. What happened next was kind of funny but surely embarrassing for him and his mother. One by one we all pulled out hand sanitizer and began sanitizing ourselves. We didn’t want to embarrass the guy but he kinda brought that upon himself. It was obvious his problem was not H1N1 but something a lot more serious. It is selfish and completely, wrong, careless and potentially criminal to go out in public when you are as sick as he was. What happens if you infect someone else and they don’t make it? It’s wrong. STAY HOME. It’s that simple. STAY HOME.
