About an hour before time to pick me up my cab driver called to tell me he took a run that would make him about $350 with one client. He wasn’t able to pick me up and manage his current client so he canceled. I understand why but it would have been nice had he called two hours earlier when he got the client. The client said he had 4 places around the city left to go and he wanted Cabby Negative to wait. Cabby Negative even told me where he was going and how far these places where from one another. He’s talked about this particular client before so I know the kind of cash he’s about to make. Still, he could have called me earlier he just didn’t. Again, I understand why he took the run. He would only make $30 from my run so it sorta makes sense. It pisses me off that I was ready in my head to do this then …..nothing. I figured it wasn’t going to help to sit around pissed all day so I decided to get a tad bit of extra sleep and take care of some business of my own. My old appointment is back on schedule, so the 17th I’ll show up and do this thing.
