You’re going to be just fine. If you need to start your day off with a few tears then do so.
Remember that your to do list doesn’t say it all has to be done today. Split it up, do what you can and ignore the inner voice that tells you just how much you’ve let things fall to the way side. That voice isn’t important right now If need be, make fun of that voice. Tell him he talks funny.
Get a good meal in you and maybe even eat it by the window. If you can’t afford fresh flowers on your table remember you’ve got art skills, paint ‘em. Painting a flower a day might even be helpful.
You’re overwhelmed and it feels like everything around you is a gigantic catastrophe, as if the sky itself is falling. It will be helpful for you to narrow your focus and concentrate on accomplishing small things which may help the bigger picture look brighter. When it all seems this insane, narrow your focus.
I feel it may be important for us to start out with our adult daily living skills, as this may help lift our mood and make our body feel refreshed. We were starting the day off by feeding the critter part of our family but in doing so we end up getting side tracked and skipping some of our daily living skills. I think we need to mange us first so that we can help manage the rest of the household. Why throw the life jacket to a child who can’t swim? I need to put the life jacket on then take care of those around me. My daily living skills are imperative, they are my life jacket.
Most importantly, remember to breathe. You’re going to be okay. Look, you even had a slight little smile and a nod, “Yes, I am.”

Update 1:47AM EST
I got my little cry out, took care of my self and did a little bit of art work. I made it through the day and set plans to meet with a friend tomorrow. All in all today was managed without incident.
