Gus goes from kingly to clown in 3 seconds flat.

……
See Gus hop. See Gus run.
See Gus eat yellow snow (not pictured for obvious reasons).
After a long day of playing in the snow it’s time for Gus to do his real job which is to keep me warm at night by laying on my feet. Sometimes though he gets off the bed and takes ALL the covers with him. I wake up cold and find him snoring on top of them. Some people! Why can’t he use his own covers and pillows? He all but takes my teddy bear too.
Now that we’ve got the unauthorized sniffing under control I let Gus sleep beside me. I was feeling somewhat, oh I don’t know, violated by that. It’s one thing for a little dog to do that but you get a larger dog and what is annoying leaps to “just plain wrong.” We play a lot in bed too. He tries to put his very cold nose on my eye but I hide under the covers and he tries to get to me. The boy is too sweet and a great snuggler.

Gidgette thinks its great fun to go into the bathroom with it unheated floor. Her paws get ice cold. Then she gets under the blankets and puts her icy paws on my warm back. Not nice I tell you.
why oh why do they do it?
I have new kitty photos on FB.
Tallie prefers to sleep under the covers. She starts out at the foot of the bed on top of the covers. Then climbs up and paws at the covers until I raise them up and she can burrow down alongside my feet. Spoiled dog.
