Save You From Yourself

When Senior does something mega stupid like tell a neighborhood guy he can cut down a 25 foot tree surrounded by power lines I feel the need to step in and save him from himself and the young man from himself. This soft headed “kid” has been by here 4 times now saying he has insurance and a license to cut down the tree, however, he has no cherry picker, no crew and no sense. The first time he showed up he had nothing at all, no paperwork no insurance, no ID.  Now he claims to have all his paperwork. Senior let him remove branches from a tree over my car which have been on the ground since late last summer. Even then I had to go out there and tell the guy to stop because his saw was sparking while hitting a nail in a branch. He was sawing OVER his head with a gas saw against a nail. Now why would you trust someone like that to work around power lines on a huge tree? Anyone who wants to cut down a tree in those dangerous conditions for $400 obviously doesn’t know what the job is worth or what it entails.

This may not be my house BUT I have and will continue to go outside and chase that man off the property. Someone is gonna die if that guy works on that tree. He’ll either get electrocuted or mess up the house because the tree falls the wrong way onto power lines or on him, the house or all three. It’s reckless and dangerous which is why I keep going out to chase his ass off the property! I asked him what his name is and he told me. I then asked him if he wanted to wait in the yard as I called the police or if he wanted to run home and meet them there. I know where he lives. He’s shacked up in some tiny apartment in the back of a lawyers office.

These people do not know how to say no to someone but I do. I have and will continue to tell that boy to get out of the yard. The chances that Senior will get to the door before I do are slim to none so it’s me this soft headed kid gets at the door. He always looks so surprised to see me like he’s never been here before.  WTF? He’s  says he’s come back to talk to the home owner. I said no! I said no and meant it. Leave! I’m doing you a favor here, I’m saving you from damn yourself. Grrrrr

No amount of insurance can get you your life back. No amount of insurance can get you your leg or arm back. Is $400 worth a life or a limb? No it’s not! It’s reckless to hire some young, inexperienced guy to cut down a 25 foot tree with a hand saw. It may even be criminally negligent to allow him to cut one down surrounded by power lines. These people! These people! These people!
