It shows a child in the middle of the room with arrows pointed at him as people laugh about his humiliation. I'm trying to let some of this go but damn, that video by The Onion really got me when I saw it. I'm not sure how they thought it was funny. I don't know. For some reason that video really hurts me...deep kinda hurt. I don't know. I'm trying to work on that hurt though cause it's turned more into anger than hurt and sadness. How can anyone tolerate a "joke" being made about child sexual abuse? It used to be more rare, then the Michael Jackson cases and all comics make this truly vicious and hateful jokes. I am not standing up for Michael Jackson. I am standing up for the children. And I do realize that it is a joke, just that there should never be jokes about sexually abusing minors. I mean seriously do they understand they are laughing at the thought of a child being sexually violated and/or raped? I'm sorry that you get these truly clueless and heartless responses. The setting was laid by the fact that these were labeled "comedy". That set up our expectation to see humor in what's being said. Then came the harsh words of abuse, a joke, more harsh words, more jokes. If a person strays from the group and refuses to laugh they may very well end up getting their head bitten off. Both people failed to realize their focus was off. The comments were intended to hurt (the last one did).
