She was a good skier and she enjoyed it a lot.
I’ve mentioned several times that she sang very well but I’m not sure if I’ve ever mentioned she wrote nice poetry and she was pretty good at sketching. We even took a poetry class together at the local university.
I think I’m envious of her spontaneity. I’m not very spontaneous at all.
She was a great public speaker with very little fear of large crowds.
She sang with my sister and me in talent shows and always stole the show.
Her favorite animal is the elephant. Her favorite color is gray.
Her dad loved cows and said she had eyes like a cow. On the outside it seems an insult but if you’ve ever been close enough to a cow to see its eyes you’d know its actually a compliment. Cows have beautiful eyes.
She had a thing for sports cars. She even raced some of my high school friends at the stop light and thought it was the greatest thing ever to leave them in the dust. When she drove she always had a sports car. Man she loved her cars.
She speaks French, Spanish and English. When my sister became an ASL translator the mother became fluent in sign language.
She was a church hopper. She went to an Apostolic Church, Catholic Church as well as Methodist and a few non-denominational churches.
She, like her mother, has diabetes.
She’s the oldest of 4 and has one deceased brother.
The nickname her family gave her is a play on her middle name. I think it’s funny. My dad gave her a nickname which has stuck. Everyone still calls her by that name including my cousins, but they put Aunty in front of it ![]()
She’s a non-smoker and hardly drank a drop.
The entire time growing up with her she had only two boyfriends. One was a good guy and the other, I hated the ground he walked on. (turns and spits on the ground in total disgust, even hatred. jackass!)
Her voice isn’t loud or raspy. She was usually soft spoken, wasn’t big on screaming which seems odd knowing what she is. Our house wasn’t overly loud with music, TV or anything like that.
She had large, round handwriting. Handwriting samples and their meaning can be found here. This here is not the easiest read but it shows my mother’s handwriting and explains a few things about my own. Here the writer explains other personality traits associated with handwriting.
She typed 120 words per minute. It sounded like music. She taught me to type when I was 8 years old.
She didn’t like coffee but she loved hot tea, loved Pepsi even more and thought Pepsi and a Snicker was the best meal on earth.
She is absolutely a complex individual.
She’s predictably unpredictable.
