Aww, it’ll be okay little one

This little one I call Blossom was here maybe 3 days ago but was returned because she fell behind again.  Her 5 litter mates are twice her size, stronger, faster and  squeeze her out so she’s back being bottle fed.

I call the kitten Blossom because she has made huge strides to overcome her odds. She’s got a great determination to thrive so we’re going to do the best we can to support this spirit of hers. At this time she’s on antibiotics twice a day and she’s got a nicely heated crate to assist with her body heat. This little one is still unable to use the restroom on her own and still has her blue eyes yet she bounds and leaps across her crate and screams quite loudly when she’s ready for her bottle.  I have great hopes for her… mainly that she’ll get better quickly and find a home so I don’t get more gray hair chasing after her and feeding her loud self.

Every few hours the kitten screams bottle! bottle! feed meeeeeeee! I’m up child, I’m up, damn! Like a robot I feed her, burp her little self then put her back to bed. I put my bones back in bed only to be rudely awakened 3 hours later by her demands for comfort and food. She’d better be happy she’s cute and super soft.

Blossom is a typical long haired tortoiseshell kitten with a strong and fearless personalty. I’m surprised at how much of a personality she has at 4 weeks old. The person who adopts her will get a jewel. She is sweetness wrapped in tortie fur!

Of course I have to add shots of Felicity who is doing quite well.
