Wow. I actually have a TV now. It’s been 15 years. I can’t believe there’s a little flat screen here. It’s so darn cute! I just love it.

My CNA went with me to buy the TV because I had no idea what to get. I needed a Wi-Fi TV of a certain brand, but other than that I was lost. So she went along and helped me out. Once we got it home she set it up and programmed everything. All devices are synced and working correctly. She did a great job, something I could not have done on my own. I realize I’m one of those midlife people who requires a Millennial to set up my electronics. Sigh.

I’ve been watching everything I said I’d watch plus animal documentaries on YouTube. I’m really enjoying myself.

I also purchased a set of curtains to close up the large walk in closet / dressing room. There should have been a door there but since there’s not, I put up curtains. It looks good. Now I feel like I have more privacy when dressing with my CNA here. She put the curtains up, too.

Things are going very well with the 19 year old CNA that I’ve affectionately nicknamed The Youngen. I like her a lot and we get along well. I think she’s reliable and trainable.

I’ve been doing a bit better physically. There have been hard days but not so many in a row that I want to scream. Right now I’m sort of taking it easy and waiting for the date of my ablation to be set. It should be soon.

Joe watches TV from my lap.

  1. Yay for The Youngen that is knowledgeable, helpful, reliable, and trainable! Finally!! I’m so thankful she was extra helpful with the TV and set-up as well as hanging the curtains. I love the picture of Joey and your plant babies. 🙂

Also, yay for having a TV that you can watch You Tube channels and numerous other options on a larger screen!

No need to feel nervous, comment if you'd like.
