Instead of going to the emergency room I emailed my doctor and told him that I can’t take it. I just can’t take the vomiting and writhing in pain. I asked him for a medication I was told by an anesthesiologist helps with nerve pain. To my surprise he wrote me a PRN script for pain! I now have some pain relief in my possession. He also changed my muscle relaxer and upped the dose.

When I got both meds I put them under my tongue to absorb faster. I’m still under the weighted blanket and heating pad but I think I feel much better! The last week has been terrible! I don’t feel like I am in an emergency anymore. I’m not panicking. Joe and I are on the bed resting.

My new CNA “T” has been doing a great job. I really like her. And I like owner 2 quite a bit.

Despite feeling better due to the new meds, I’m still going to take it easy and do very little. I’m going to stay here on the heating pad. I’ve got another dose tonight at 9pm, so the uptick continues.

  1. I’m so happy you got some pain relief! That was surely an answer to prayer. I hope you get some good rest.

It’s also great to hear about the CNA. I hope she continues doing a good job for you.

  2. What an answer to prayer. So glad you were taken seriously by the doctor and given some relief!

No need to feel nervous, comment if you'd like.
